Welcome to our new interactive website which is reflecting the positive growth and refreshing innovation within Neighbourhood Watch in Tendring.
We are attempting to move with the times – the world around us is moving forward at a rapid pace and the PC has become an acceptable means of cascading and sharing information for some years.
Those who wish to view the website and don’t have their own PC can of course gain access to the site through facilities and support in their local library for example.

THE DISPLAY IN THE TENDRING DISTRICT COUNCIL TENT AT THE TENDRING SHOW 2010
Many thanks to Mar ,Harvey, Dan, Mike, Maureen, John and Alan for manning the very successful display.
Mike & Alan set the stand up on Friday afternoon and made the final touches at 7.40am on the day of the show. All of our members worked tirelessly and effectively and I have been asked by the Chairman of the Essex County Council, the President of the Tendring Show Executive and the Mayor of Brightlingsea – amongst many others to congratulate you on your interest dedication and support for Neighbourhood Watch.
Our TEAM working is proving both worthwhile and effective as we enrolled twenty new members two of whom wanted to enrol their neighbours when they returned home- taking enrolment forms as their point of contact. They will be given a further verbal welcome today and then receive further information and details about our local and district NHW.
Many took the new hard copy of the on line magazine which they found interesting and colourful. Others were helped and advised on matters relating to their area. All were advised of our very effective and unique CALL CENTRE and given information cards with further details.
The exposure and contacts made were very positive and worthwhile including a new arrangement with Care Line for including our literature in their welcome packs and us distributing their booklet at our meetings and displays – successful team work and cooperation.
The visitors were very interested in the WATCH and many were keen to start becoming involved in order to support and protect their local community. We promised them an increasingly well organised and functional group throughout Tendring – to which they will be welcomed and valued
